Germán A. Soto Sanchez is the Chief Product and Strategy Officer, a direct report to the CEO and a member of the Executive Leadership Team for Broadridge Financial Solutions. Broadridge is an S&P500 company with a market cap of $24B+ and over 15,000 associates worldwide that is a global financial technology leader providing investor communications and technology-driven solutions to financial institutions, broker dealers, asset and wealth managers and corporate issuers.
Prior to Broadridge, Germán was the President and Global Head of Corporate Development of Cloud9 Technologies, a global leading fintech which was acquired by Symphony Communications. Cloud9 Technologies is a cloud-based SaaS voice communications and data platform for institutional voice traders that was voted a CB Insights top 250 Fintech for 3 years in a row. Cloud9’s technology handles millions of voice trader communications per day from a network of over 5,000 global institutional users.
Prior to Cloud9, Germán led Utilities strategic investments for JPMorgan Chase. As Executive Director of Strategic Investments, Germán focused on the sourcing, diligence, and execution of early-stage investments in businesses whose solutions were of strategic importance to JPMorganChase. Previously, Germán was the Head of M&A and interim CFO for a bank holding company launched to acquire failed/distressed financial institutions such as banks, specialty finance companies and credit providers. He was also a Principal at AIC Private Equity, where he helped lead a capital raise of $250M from investors such as the European Investment Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and Verizon for a fund focused on control investments in Financial Services and Telecommunications companies. Prior to AIC Private Equity, Germán was at McKinsey & Co. Inc. where he was a member of the Financial Institutions Group. Germán received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

James Lang leads the investment team for Liberty City Ventures and is a member of the investment committee. The team performs market and competitive analysis within the blockchain and crypto space and conducts due diligence on prospective investments. The team also monitors portfolio company activity and performance. Mr. Lang has been with Liberty City Ventures since inception. He initially served as an internal consultant for companies incubated by LCV. In that capacity, Mr. Lang ran exchange operations for Paxos while serving as head of the OTC Trading Desk and Lead Institutional Client Relationship Manager. Then he participated in the launch of Lukka where he was Director of Operations.
Mr. Lang is also a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. The committee manages a $175 million portfolio which has produced top decile returns during his term.
Previously, Mr. Lang was portfolio manager and a Principal of Cashel Capital, a top performing equity long/short fund focused on the real estate sector. During Mr. Lang’s tenure Cashel Capital posted positive results for every full year period, including +25.3% net in the crisis year of 2008. Prior to joining Cashel Capital, Mr. Lang was an analyst and the head trader for Washburne Capital Management, a merger arbitrage hedge fund. He began his investment management career as a trader at Guard Hill Capital, a risk arbitrage hedge fund. He received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Columbia University, and a Master of Business Administration with a dual major in finance and accounting from New York University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Currently, Jonathan leads the development and implementation of the Catalyst Product Suite, a comprehensive solution that empowers institutions to modernize payments and adopt digital assets at scale by tackling the infrastructure and integration needs. The solution is actively used by participants on the Canton Network to support their operations.

Jørgen has over 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. Currently serving as the Group Head of Innovation and Digital Assets at Euroclear, Jørgen spearheads transformative initiatives that position the organization at the forefront of the financial sector.
Jørgen thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, leveraging his expertise in driving innovation, digital transformation, and managing complex digital assets. Before joining Euroclear, Jørgen held several senior leadership roles in international retail banking, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, bank restructuring, and digital innovation. Notably, he served as CEO of two BNP Paribas subsidiaries in Morocco—DIGIFI, a mobile wallet platform, and DIGISERV, a digital factory. There, he led the development of a B2C ecosystem, accelerating the adoption of innovative digital services and advancing financial inclusion in the region.

Justin Peterson is the Chief Technology Officer of Tradeweb Markets LLC, where he oversees the development of all trading platforms, infrastructure, and cybersecurity on a global scale. Appointed CTO in April 2020, he leads the firm’s technological strategy and innovation to support its position as a leader in electronic trading.
Previously, Mr. Peterson served as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Technology at Tradeweb, responsible for advancing the firm’s electronic platforms and trading systems. Since joining Tradeweb in 1999, he has driven the development of pricing and trading software, managed the global support team, and led the European technology group. A long-standing member of Tradeweb’s management team, he has also served on its Global Operating Committee for many years.
With more than three decades of experience in computer science and development, including over 20 years in financial services, Mr. Peterson brings extensive expertise to his role. Before joining Tradeweb, he was Vice President at Citibank, where he managed the development of web-based customer delivery and payment systems and improved electronic funds transfer systems. Earlier in his career, he worked at NYNEX Science and Technology on telephone network planning software and at Hughes Aircraft Company on computer-aided integrated circuit design tools.
Mr. Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College, as well as a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Yuval Rooz is the Co-Founder and CEO of Digital Asset, a New York-based technology company best known for DAML, its open-source smart contract language. As CEO, Yuval leads the company’s vision and strategy to drive innovation in the digital asset and blockchain technology space.
Before founding Digital Asset, Yuval managed an electronic algorithmic trading desk at DRW and later joined DRW Investment Group, the venture capital arm of the Chicago-based trading firm. Earlier in his career, Yuval worked as a trader and developer at Citadel, gaining hands-on experience in trading, engineering, and startup investments. His background also includes leading engineering teams and managing complex operations.
Yuval holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives and works in New York City, where he is also an avid cyclist.
Specializing in capital raising, contract negotiation, program management, and operational strategy, Yuval brings expertise in diverse areas such as tax structures, transfer pricing, and setting up foreign entities.
